Wheeler District

This breathtaking memorial honors the lives lost in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995. Inside the Museum, walk through the events of, and response following, that fateful morning, and leave knowing the world holds far more good than bad. The Outdoor Symbolic Memorial, from the Survivor Tree to the Reflecting Pool to the 168 empty chairs in memory of the fallen, is a moving piece of American History that must be experienced.

Deep Deuce

Oklahoma City's Deep Deuce district, a hotbed of jazz music and African-American culture in the mid-20th century, has since transformed into a true downtown neighborhood of restaurants, late night hot spots, retail shops, art galleries and more. Paying tribute to the area's roots, the annual Deep Deuce Music Festival features renowned jazz and blues bands and local performing and visual artists.

Automobile Alley

Plaza District

The Plaza District is a budding area in Oklahoma City that continues to evolve through revitalization efforts, with some of the most popular restaurants, bars and retail spaces calling it home. The area also hosts Live! on the Plaza on the 2nd Friday of each month, where live music and fresh food abounds, as well as the Plaza District Festival in the fall.

Uptown 23rd
Oklahoma City, OK

Through major revitalization efforts, Uptown 23rd has become one of Oklahoma City's premier business, arts and entertainment districts. Visitors to 23rd St. will be greeted by the historic Tower Theater's neon sign, beckoning them into an array of locally-owned restaurants, bars and eclectic boutiques that especially buzz with activity once the sun sets.

Paseo Arts District
Oklahoma City, OK

The Paseo area was developed in 1929 as the first shopping district in the state, and gradually became home to local artists and musicians. Today, the Paseo's Spanish revival buildings are home to 22 galleries, restaurants, boutiques and more. Be sure to visit for First Friday, the Paseo's monthly art walk, featuring dozens of artists and several opening receptions held in participating district galleries. The Paseo Arts Festival is also held annually on Memorial Day Weekend, combining art, food, music and family fun.

Oklahoma History Center

History buffs shouldn’t miss the 215,000-square-foot Oklahoma History Center. Situated on 18 acres in Oklahoma City, this learning center displays over 2,000 artifacts exploring Oklahoma’s unique heritage, from the state’s rich Native American culture to the land run days to the thriving present day.
