Styled after New Orleans jazz clubs, the UCO Jazz Lab is a world-class venue, playing host to everyone from local favorites like Horseshoe Road and Rachel Brashear to big-time acts like Karla Bonoff and the Glen Miller Orchestra. On off-days, the Jazz Lab is the home of Jazz Studies Division of the University of Central Oklahoma School of Music. An on-site state-of-the art recording studio combines educational endeavors with the highest quality professional tracking, mixing, mastering and duplication of all types of commercial audio products. The facility also houses practice rooms, faculty offices, a box office, seating area, stage, and an encircled plaza area outdoors for outdoor performances.
