Opened in 1911, the Skirvin Hotel was named for its founder, William Balser "Bill" Skirvin, whose daughter, Perle Mesta, became the ambassador to Luxembourg under President Harry Truman. The grand hotel played host to such famed individuals as Frank Sinatra, Dwight D. Eisenhower and Elvis before closing its doors in 1988. After more than $50 million of renovations, the hotel reopened in 2007 as The Skirvin Hilton.

More than 220 spacious rooms and suites are available, all equipped with a variety of amenities including black-out curtains, widescreen TVs with HD channels, 250-thread count sheets and high-class furnishings. On-site conference centers, meeting rooms and ballrooms allow for events of all sorts.

The Skirvin's grand lobby is situated in the middle of the hotel's Red Piano Lounge on one end and the Park Avenue Grill on the other, both of which provide fine food and drinks in ambient, relaxing atmospheres.
