The 7,000-square-foot SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology in Oklahoma City has hundreds of skeletons and skulls on display and is the largest privately held collection of osteological specimens in the world. Museum exhibits help visitors learn how the diverse members of the vertebrate kingdom move, adapt and are classified. The museum's goal is for understanding and education to lead to appreciation of the natural world and, ultimately, to its conservation.
