Oklahoma Hall of Fame at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum

The Gaylord-Pickens Museum, home of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, offers a variety of interactive exhibits for visitors to experience Oklahoma’s history through its people. Here, you can virtually meet famous and inspirational Oklahomans (and notable transplants) whose lives have impacted the state, country and world, including Reba McEntire, Russell Westbrook, Will Rogers, Mat Hoffman and many others. The faces, voices and spirits of the Museum’s inductees, people from every walk of life, create an experience unlike any other.

Temporary and permanent exhibits are also part of the repertoire, including the Chickasaw Nation Oklahoma Through Its People gallery, The Bust Garden and the Oklahoma Hall of Fame gallery, where visitors can hear members’ extraordinary stories.

Fun for kids abounds at the museum. In the Picture Yourself gallery, visitors can step into life-sized, gilded frames and put themselves into the lives of Oklahoma Hall of Fame members, whether it’s playing the role of a surgeon practicing medicine, making the game-winning slam dunk or addressing the people with an inspirational message. The on-site Chesapeake Oklahoma Theater also regularly hosts kid-friendly films, and storytimes, seasonal activities and more keep curious kiddos entertained.

Plus, don’t miss the museum store! Browse and buy a variety of Oklahoma books, apparel, home goods and educational resources.
