Oklahoma City’s Boathouse District stands apart as one of the most unique attractions in the region. Here, you can get out on the water on a kayak, canoe, dragon boat, stand-up paddle board and more, plus quick lessons on the dock mean you’re sure to have fun.

Explore RIVERSPORT Rapids and Adventures, where you can go whitewater rafting and kayaking, climb a six-story adventure course, sail down several high-speed spiral slides, fly 700 feet across the Oklahoma River on a zip line and more. There’s even special kid-sized attractions with plenty of thrills for the little ones.

The latest addition to the Boathouse District is RIVERSPORT Rapids, one of only three man-made whitewater venues in the nation. Six pumps recirculate treated water through two channels to create class II-IV rapids, and flow can be adjusted to offer various levels of rafting and kayaking experiences.

You’ll also find stunning architecture on the river with the Chesapeake Boathouse, Devon Boathouse, Chesapeake Finish Line Tower and CHK | Central Boathouse. The Boathouse District is within walking distance of other Adventure Road destinations like Bricktown, Summit and the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
