Next time you're driving down I-35 in south-central Oklahoma and come upon State Highway 7 at Exit 55, be sure to stop and explore the Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center. Visitors get a taste of both Chickasaw and Oklahoma culture through informational kiosks, printed brochures and a retail shop offering Chickasaw and Native American art as well as made-in-Oklahoma items. The Welcome Center also has a playground area, a dog park, RV/bus parking, public restrooms, an indoor lounge, free coffee and a great retail shop.
