Located in Oklahoma City and founded in 1973, the American Pigeon Museum & Library is a unique repository dedicated to preserving the heritage of the country's domestic pigeons. Visitors to the museum can explore documents, artifacts, educational resources and more, including the Gold Band Breeding Loft, a Fancy Pigeon Exhibit which holds 20 different varieties of pigeons, and a roller loft complete with performing pigeons. Wander the property's 10 acres, relax in the Thelma Snyder Memorial Garden and walk the bridge over the ravine to arrive at the main attraction.
