Film Row District

In the 1930s, Oklahoma City's Film Row was a hotbed of cinematic happenings, with film exchanges from major Hollywood studios like Warner Brothers, Paramount and MGM calling the area home.

Today, Film Row stays true to its creative roots and is a thriving center of artistry, design and local entrepreneurship. Book an appointment for a custom-made tattoo at Black Mint Collective, explore the gallery at Individual Artists of Oklahoma, pick up a batch of succulents at The Plant Shoppe, take home a locally designed T-shirt at The Okay See or enjoy a slice at Joey’s Pizzeria. For late-night fun, hit up FlashBack RetroPub, an ‘80s arcade bar with all your favorite video games.

The Paramount OKC is a historic Film Row destination. Once the distribution center for Paramount Pictures now houses the intimate black-box Paramount Theatre, home to Rodeo Cinema on Film Row where you can catch the latest releases, curated independent films and panels with local filmmakers.

Nearby, The Jones Assembly offers refined regional cuisine and inventive cocktails that quickly earned its badge as a local favorite. The uniquely sophisticated hangout also brings an impressive lineup of national recording artists and local bands.

Another Oklahoma City hotspot, the 21C Museum Hotel, is situated at the edge of Film Row in the historic Fred Jones Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant. This 135-room boutique hotel includes a contemporary art museum, a cultural civic center and the gourmet Mary Eddy’s Kitchen x Lounge.
